10 Rules All Fit Girlies Live By

Fit Girlie Rules

Every girlie that exercises and gets her body sculpted and toned has rules they live by. And if you want to achieve your body goal and live healthier, you have to follow these rules and start using them in your own life ASAP.

And here they are:

Fit girlies are not obsessed with the scale

They are not so obsessed with the scale. While it is very important to track your progress, becoming obsessed with the number on the scale can become harmful and numbers do not necessarily equate to progress, or the lack thereof. The more muscle you gain, the higher the number is going to be on the scale but, when you look in the mirror you will not see it as weight gain, but lean, toned muscle. Instead of looking to the scale for results, make more of a habit of using the mirror. Of course, you will not see progress day to day, but if you take photos once a month, you will be impressed at the differences you see.

They do not skip rest days

Rest days are SUPER important and as a fit girlie, your body and muscles need rest to recover and rebuild the broken muscle fibers that occur during workouts. When you rest, you rebuild your strength and endurance.

Eat a lot of protein daily

Fit women eat a lot of protein in their meal and as a snack. Protein decreases the hunger hormone, reduces food cravings and prevents post-meal blood spikes. A protein filled snack will give you more energy, make you feel satisfied and improve your mood.

They don't joke with their meals.

Fit girlies plan their meals and take it seriously. They know food is the fuel to the body and make it a point to note what they feed it with. They do not restrict themselves by avoiding their favorite foods. It's hard to have a healthy relationship with food and your body if you constantly threaten yourself with restrictions. Besides long term restriction dieting can have negative consequences.

Fit girlies stay hydrated all the time

Make it a habit to hydrate yourself always. If water alone seems boring, spice it up with some lemon. Take this when you want to work out to fuel your  performance and first thing in the morning to stimulate metabolism and hydrate your body.

They think about their mental health too

Fit girls maintain a balance of taking great care of their body and mental health as well, which helps them crush their fitness goals and make amazing progress. Active meditation can help you find peace of mind. You can get this when you go hiking up mountains, skiing, practicing yoga, climbing, running and so much more. Doing this will help you be in the present.

They look for enjoyment in exercise

Exercise is a different responsibility from work, household chores, business, or study. Find the best schedule so you can focus more and enjoy it without hurrying.

And exercising is not always about doing cardio, running, or lifting weights. You can try swimming, engaging in other sports that you like, or a simple 10-15 minutes of walk outside.

They are motivated

As a fit girlie, you must always psych yourself up by telling yourself you’re strong even though you may not feel like it. Don’t acknowledge lack of energy.

They keep track of progress

Always keep a food journal and a workout journal. Keep track of everything. The way you feel, your heart rate, blood pressure, weight, temperature, breathing, etc.

They are consistent

Fit ladies know that consistency is more important than perfection. If you are persistent, you will get your goals. But if you are consistent, you will keep it.

If you have body or weight goals, don’t worry too much if you’re not seeing significant results yet. What’s important is to not stop and stay dedicated to it. Because your body can do it, so it’s time to convince your mind. Always remember that small progress is still progress.

It’s never too late nor too early to work on being the healthiest version of you.
